Hello, first time poster, long time user. I have been running AutoCAD 2007 since brand new. I have no reason to upgrade as I bought the full version and upgraded it via lisp routines which are unable to be transferred to other versions. Just before Christmas, It started asking for an activation number. I contacted AutoCAD via live chat and we solved the issue. After Christmas, it stopped working again. I have been through Ava and the issue is that the request code coming up on my machine is 4 digits short. The issue the guy picked up was that it appeared as though the program had moved or someone was trying to get more licenses out of the disc. Although my machine had been communicating with AutoCAD all the way through. It is all legit and was bought through a dealer at the time who has since retired. I need help as it is my business and I am sunning out of time to get it working again full time! I can't get in contact with the live chat anymore as this option seems to have disappeared and I need to talk through this issue with someone. Who do I go to?
As I said, my seller has retired and is no longer doing anything other than what retires do. I bought AutoCAD 2007 and have had no issues with it whatsoever right up til just before Christmas when all of a sudden it needed an activation code. Why this is the case, I have no idea and would like an explanation as to why this is the case. Why it works perfectly well for my business and then all of a sudden it doesn't want to work anymore and why AutoCAD seems to think it can just ruin someones business without any notification at all. I need it fixed and fixed ASAP. I do not want to upgrade as it has had to many lisp routines changed and is a one of a kind system that I am more than happy with along with my clients that I deal with. I just need to get it running again the way it has run for all these years and unfortunately no this response has not resolved my issue..

So when you chatted before Christmas it got resolved and then it came back again? Is that what I'm understanding? I fully understand your frustrated but just remember this is mainly a user based forum where users assist others like yourself. We have no insight into your license or its activation history so we can't offer you an explanation in why your activation failed.. It could be related to a corrupt license file on your machine. Perhaps you want to exist AutoCAD and remove the licensing information -aut... and restart it.
Its the full version of AutoCAD 2007. I have the box in front of me. The bloke on the chat line gave me several activation codes and then one worked and the request for one disappeared off my home screen. When I switched it on the 7th January, it went through the verification of license again and gave me 7 days to work it out again. I do have the original CDs it came with, but this is stressing me out something fierce as on the screen with all the lisp routines changed to suit what I do, I simply can't afford to relearn AutoCAD again and in fact I have never used it as the standard thing. I came straight from drawing by hand to this and have never known anything different.. It just seems odd that it has only just started doing this after all these years. The other issue is that I must have been one of the last people to use the live chat as I can't find it again and there simply doesn't appear to be anyone that I can go through with this person to person other than Ava which unless you ask the right question, it appears to have no idea as to what you are on about and god help you if you are one number short in the request number because it won't let you move on and I appear to be 4 digits short..

We have a computer in our shop running AutoCAD 2007 LT. We had purchased the full version of AutoCAD 2007 LT but have since lost the discs. We are moving some computers around and need to put AutoCAD on the computer that will be replacing the current one. I have the serial number etc but is there somewhere I can download the AutoCAD 2007 LT software?
